چکیده

The conducted study, with focus on the earliness and opening rate of bolls, other economic traits introgressive cotton lines, was carried out from 2017 to 2019 at Institute Genetics Plant Experimental Biology, Evolution Biology Department, in Chirchik State Pedagogical Institute, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Overall, lines were found ripen two 13 days earlier than a standard cultivar C-6524. Particularly, line L-РСМ, vegetation period took 109 matured 12.3 check. According boll weight, selected identified have best performance, as well as, good germination ability seeds. line, Т-138, highly resistant strains Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vasinfectum pathogenic fungi, while L-РСМ L-138, had 80% 100% resistance Verticillium dahliaе fungi. L-141, not infected solani cluster analysis revealed that according traits, first included L-24 L-138 be closely related each other. third cluster, it this among cultivars performance for all valuable traits. comparative resulted creation new medium-fiber “Niso,” productivity 3,830 5,650 kg ha-1, weight 6.0 6.7 g, 109.0 112.0 days, type IV fiber, 1000-seed 118.0 120.0 fiber percentage ranging 36.9% 41.4%, length 34.0 35.9 mm, relative tensile strength (34.6 cN/tex). Cotton obtained basis intergenomic introgression methods leading “Cotton gene pool” (Reference Academy Sciences Republic Uzbekistan №4/1255-2473 dated November 12, 2020). These made possible enrich collection cotton, evaluate wild species, form system information electronic database adaptable stress factors genetically enriched samples.

Effect of Nitrogen on Seed Cotton Yield and Fiber Qualities of Cotton (gossypium Hirsutum L.) Cultivars

Seed cotton yield and fiber qualities may be significantly altered by a number of agronomic practices. The present study investigates the effect of nitrogen levels on cotton cultivar's seed cotton yield and fiber quality traits. Three cotton cultivars (NIAB-111, CIM496 and FH901) were tested against four nitrogen levels (0, 60, 120 and 180 kg ha) to check reliability, the highest yielding and g...

Assessment of genetic variability, heritability and association of plant attributes with lint yield and fiber quality in advanced lines of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)

Information on genetic variability and heritability of plant attributes and their correlation with lint yield and fiber quality is important for planning breeding and selection strategies for prediction of genetic gains in cotton breeding programs. For these purpose, a field experiment was carried out using randomized complete block design with four replications in 2016 and 2017 at Hashem-Abad ...
